Dr. Rosie Banks, PhD, is an accomplished psychologist with over two decades of experience across a range of clinical environments, including inpatient and outpatient settings. Her expertise spans psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy, with a focus on patients facing psychiatric, neurodegenerative, and substance use disorders. With more than seven years in forensic psychology and over a decade in academia, Dr. Banks has honed her skills in psychological evaluations, lethality risk assessments, and psychological autopsy investigations. She has also made significant contributions to the field through her research, particularly in the area of transformational leadership and its impact on work-life balance in high-stress professions.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Banks is a seasoned educator, currently serving as a psychology instructor at ECPI University. She has taught at various institutions, including ITT Technical College and the Glion Institute of Higher Education, where she has developed curricula and provided instruction in both traditional and virtual classrooms. Dr. Banks is also the founder of GAEA Holistic LLC, where she provides psychotherapy and clinical assessments for gerontology patients. Her leadership extends to the community through her role as the Executive Director of the Greater Equality and Advocacy Association, where she has implemented programs supporting returning citizens and providing essential services such as job placement and educational opportunities. Recognized for her contributions to both psychology and the community, Dr. Banks has received several awards, including the Youthful Offender Parole and Re-Entry Services Community Partners Award and the U.S. Attorney’s Office Community Partners Award.
