Julia Bailey

Director of Professional Relations

Julia graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business. She has worked in the healthcare industry for more than a decade –six of those years were spent in the eating disorder field.

Due to her own experience with an eating disorder, Julia is passionate about education, prevention and awareness of these devastating diseases. As such, she is an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) and has held numerous positions in local chapters. Recognizing the need for greater understanding of food-related disorders, she has participated in several National Eating Disorder (NEDA) walks nationwide.

When not involved in advocacy, Julia enjoys spending time outside gardening and hiking.
